WeWork Opens Largest Location Ever In Shanghai
Calcalist reported earlier this week that coworking giant, WeWork, is set to open its largest location ever in a downtown Shanghai building. The new location, set to open in 2018, will span 10 stories and cover 290,625 square feet.

New Accounting Rules To Boost Coworking Demand
Though we’ve known this for some time now, new federal accounting rules to go into effect by 2019, will require public companies to list office leases as liabilities in their balance sheets. However, The Real Deal reported that there is a loophole that will benefit coworking and flexible workspace operators. “If public companies sign a lease with a coworking space provider, and if the provider has a right to move the tenant, that lease won’t have to be listed as a liability.”
