Office evolution targets Florida market with plans for ten locations

One of the fastest growing franchises in the U.S.(1) targets Florida market with plans for ten locations in Florida

Jacksonville, FL (June 25, 2018) Office Evolution, a rapidly-growing shared-office franchisor offering coworking space, private office space, virtual offices and business services, announced today that it has teamed with local business executive and entrepreneur, Michael Wielgus, to open its first business center in Jacksonville — the first of five planned for Jacksonville.

The new 8,084-square-foot center, located in the JTB Center at 5011 Gate Parkway, Building 100 and Suite 100, offers small businesses and entrepreneurs, professional, on-demand office space with 24/7 secured access. Members can choose from several packages that also include business mailing and telephone answering services. Rental options include hourly, daily, month-to-month and longer-term leases.

The bright, airy, first floor center offers 30 private furnished offices, a community kitchen, a large coworking business lounge and two conference rooms that can accommodate from 8 to 12 people.  The center, located in the St. John’s Town Center area, offers easy access to both I-295 Beltway and J. Turner Butler (SR 202) and has numerous hotels, shopping and restaurants nearby. Building amenities include free parking and daily food truck service.

A grand opening to tour the facility is slated for Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6 p.m.

Wielgus has spent over 25 years in a variety of executive leadership roles primarily in higher education, financial services and technology. He is excited with the prospect of launching Office Evolution in his hometown of 40 years and helping local Jacksonville businesses grow and succeed.

“We are excited to open the first of our five centers planned for Jacksonville,” said Michael Wielgus, Office Evolution franchise owner. “Jacksonville is home to a vibrant, entrepreneurial small business community that needs and wants the services we provide. That’s clearly evident in that we have already pre-leased over 70% of our center before officially opening our doors! Our locations offer solopreneurs and small business owners the opportunity to conduct business near where they live and play – without the congestion of downtown traffic.  Besides offering a terrific location and amenities, we are keenly sensitive to the needs of our members. Our business center managers help them overcome small business challenges and connect with other members to realize their full potential.”

The market demand for coworking space, private furnished office space, virtual offices and business services is expected to continue its rapid growth trajectory as corporate America continues to outsource many jobs that can be performed more cost-effectively by contractors.  The number of consultants, contractors, and so-called “solopreneurs” will have soared 50 percent between 2011 and 2018, to an estimated 24 million, per an annual workforce report by MBO Partners. Moreover, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the number of freelancers, temps, independent contractors and solopreneurs will grow from 30 percent of the workforce today to 40 percent of the total workforce over the next five years.
