Knotel, WeWork’s biggest competitor in New York, has announced it will open its first Dublin office space by the end of the year.
“Dublin is a concentrated and competitive market, and once we open in the city centre by end of year, we will continue to grow,” said Edward Shenderovich, co-founder and chairman. “Knotel spaces will certainly increase Dublin’s flexible office inventory, which is projected to grow by 50% this year.”
In anticipation of its entrance into the Irish capital, Knotel has hired a manager of real estate transactions. It also operates smaller spaces that are geared towards startups and entrepreneurs under Agile HQ.
The company has expanded rapidly throughout Europe in the last 12 months, acquiring two European startups within the office space sector and Paris’ coworking company Deskeo.
