- PIVOT is a new division from Savills that targets landlords to provide flexible workspace to larger firms of 40-150+ workstations.
- It’s led by Charlie Wardroper, who formerly worked at IWG plc (Regus) and Instant Group.
- PIVOT will deliver an end-to-end service including branding/design, fit out, IT and facilities management.
International real estate advisor Savills has launched PIVOT, a new UK service line dedicated to helping landlords/owner occupiers drive flexible demand into their office buildings.
This new, fully integrated service line will enable landlords to reduce letting voids and achieve enhanced returns by delivering flexible managed workspace solutions for customers. Providing a creative, turn-key offering, Savills PIVOT will allow landlords to capture the ever-growing demand from larger customers looking for 40-150+ workstations.
Savills PIVOT is led by director Charlie Wardroper, who will be working closely with the firm’s building and project consultancy, workplace, property and facilities management teams to deliver the new service line across the UK.
Charlie joined Savills in December 2018 and has over 30 years’ experience specialising in the office sector across the UK and Europe. Over the last six years Charlie has established a particular expertise within the growing flexible managed workspace sector spending time at both IWG plc (Regus) and Instant Group.
Charlie Wardroper, head of Savills PIVOT, comments: “The launch of Savills PIVOT, as an end to end service, is perfectly timed given the structural shift we have seen across all office markets. PIVOT affords landlords an alternative way to cater to those customers who don’t want conventional space and/or prefer not to be a customer of a serviced office operator.
“Furthermore, Savills PIVOT is a demand-led solution that gives their customers more choice around their branding/design, fit out, I.T. and demised FM services, at a fixed all-inclusive price point and delivered in 6/8 weeks.”
Jeremy Bates, EMEA Head of Occupational Markets at Savills, says: “The flex market has matured considerably over recent years and is now a recognised part of an occupiers’ workplace strategy. Savills PIVOT creates a new opportunity for landlords to reposition existing space in order to better align their offer to a wider tenant mix, monetise and prevent longer voids.
“We are thrilled to have Charlie leading Savills PIVOT, his extensive knowledge of the occupier and landlord markets will be a key element in driving this new platform that will provide a new and dynamic service line to augment our existing business space, demised FM services, building and project consultancy, workplace and Workthere teams.”
