A mother-focused coworking space in Detroit’s metro area is doubling its footprint due to growing demand.
Honey Space for Moms started in a room in the back of a doctor’s office and has since evolved into a 2,000 square foot space located in Ferndale.
Now, Honey will expand to 3,700 square feet and take over the space next door, adding four private offices, relaxation rooms, a conference room, private spaces, and on-site childcare services.
Honey also offers expert-led support groups for moms at various stages of motherhood, as well as groups for balancing a business and motherhood.
The coworking space provides a multitude of services for members, such as therapy for individuals and couples, as well as breast and bottle feeding consultations, massages, yoga classes and more.
“Honey in Ferndale is just the beginning,” said Brooke Miller, CEO of Honey. “We’ve carved out a beautiful brand and beautiful process here, so I certainly see more Honey in metro Detroit and beyond, certainly, in the coming years.”
