How Workers Can Benefit From Coworking Spaces

Research has proven time and time again that coworking options are beneficial to both organizations and employees. In fact, a study found that over half of respondents said they would likely accept a job with a lower salary if it meant more employee perks.

“In the 21st century, careers are no longer narrowly defined by jobs and skills but through experiences and learning agility,” stated the 2018 Deloitte Human Capital Trends report. “The ongoing transformation of work, the need for people and organizations to constantly upgrade capabilities, and shifts in employee preferences demand new approaches to learning, job design, performance management, and career development.”

Coworking spaces have been found to boost innovation and productivity thanks to their ability to nurture a diverse community of companies from various corners of the workforce.

Immersing yourself in this environment also helps your organization to gain exposure to new businesses, which can lead to great collaboration and networking opportunities.

Workers often feel more empowered in coworking spaces as they get the chance to make their own schedule since several of these facilities are open 24/7. Allowing workers to have control over their work hours can help them balance personal responsibilities, which in turn helps boost mental and physical health.
